Hi Kathy,

Ruby is going great. She is very smart, she sits when told, fetchs the ball & brings it back, & even hands it back over. She goes & gets the things she wants you to through for her & drops them at your feet very loudly so you hear her then sits & waits for how ever long it's take you to do it. Ruby hardly ever barks, she has barked at a toy once or twice but that's it.

She loves playing with the chook & plays with the cat. She is aloud to mix with other dogs this Saturday, cas she has had her last injection now, so I will be takeing her to the beach on the long weekend to play in the water.

Rub mixs great with my mums dogs she loves them. Just wanted to thankyou so much for such a beautifull natured breed of dog. She is so spoilt by us & our kids, & she is my bed mate through the week while my husband camps away for work.

She is like a cuddly teddy bear.

Thank you again. I will keep in touch.

Kind regards. Karen Hammersley

Hi Kathy

Just giving you a quick update on how Harper is going. I have him enrolled at puppy pre-school and he is doing well. The teachers have used him as their 'demo' pup as he is somewhat more calm than the others in his class.

We now walk each morning for thirty minutes - he quite enjoys it and really is a nosey parker - likes to sit and watch each person as they walk or jog by.

We saw another labradoodle (same colouring) but obviously fully grown during our walk on the week-end.

Now I know what Harper will look like!

I have attached my latest photo of him for you.

Hi Kathy,

I’ve been meaning to contact you…Bob is absolutely divine…I fall more in love each day! And yes, he is quite the hit in Rutherglen and wherever else I go (he comes almost everywhere with me)…

I wouldn’t be surprised if more people who’ve seen him get in touch with you, as I’ve given your website address to quite a few people.

He’s so clever, we were both bored at Puppy training as he could already do what they were teaching!

These photos were taken 2 weeks ago, and he’s also a hefty lad, now weighs 10kg but he looks bigger because of the fluff.

Nice to hear from you

Regards,

Nicolle

Hello all.

Things are going great in Honolulu. I got to meet Cayenne today and attached some pictures from our first meeting.

He is the best thing ever - a major snuggler!!!!  Meeting Cayenne was one of the most memorable moments of life and we were fast in love.

We spent all day with him playing with toys and bones and practicing some of his training.

We will get to spend all day tomorrow with him also and I can hardly wait to see him.

Anyone who knows me and my obsession over getting Cayenne into my arms realizes that I can't convey in an email message what a great moment this was. :)

Enjoy the pics and we'll take more tomorrow.

Cayenne and I fly home to Kwajalein leaving Friday April 18th and arrive Kwaj after crossing the date line on April 19th.

Much love!

Julie

Hi Kathy,
I have just taken some more updated photos of Basil today..I have just given him a hair cut, so he is looking cool.

He is a great dog. No barking, gets along with the kids really well, loves walks every morning. I think he has taken his looks from his mum Lily..His coat had gone a sunburnt golden colour so thats why I gave him a cut. Now he is back to chocolate..for now. I will send you some before and after photos...

Thank you heaps for a lovely natured puppy. He is much loved by all our family..

Regards,
Megan

Dear Kathy

Attached are Saffron's first birthday photos, with her great uncles Jack and William, just before they got their spring clip.  Happy for you to use them on your web site.

Erin decided that there was too much cleaning for William to go to Sydney on permanent basis.  All four of us have been to Sydney several times this year.

Originally Saffron sat in the passanger seat next to me with the boys on the back seat.  I pack extra bags between the seats, etc so that there is lots of room for them to spread out on.  Now that Saffron is much the same height as Jack, but not nearly as heavy as she is mostly all legs, she no longer fits in the front and has to sit in the back seat with Jack.  William sits right over the back behind the seats with some extra padding and a blanket.  I have all the seat belts set up so that with their harnesses they are quite secure.

They just love travelling and get excited from the moment the first bag appears.  I learnt my lesson very quickly, that getting the harnesses out of the cupboard until just before we are about to leave is not a good idea.  William sits and puts up his right front paw to have the harness put on but Jack get so excited that it took me some time to get him to do the same. With the number of trips that we've done Jack and Saffron are getting much better.

They are great travellers. They look out of the windows or sleep.  The funnist thing is when all three of them have been asleep and suddenly sit up.  I've had some very strange reactions from the people in the car behind on a number of occasions.  Actually they love the car so much that they will happily sit in it all afternoon if I am outside gardening.  They even like jumping in, just to get a ride into the garage.

As you may remember William was five, six days before Saffron turned one.  We treat him as the leader of the pack but he is so laid back the he lets Jack go out of the door or gate first.  When he has had enough he lets everyone know.  His growl is very very deep, even Saffron pays attention at least for a couple of seconds.

So here they are Cinder's great granddaughter and two sons.

Kindest regards

Kay

Hello Kathy!

Sorry about the English, you know it is my second language. We just want to let you know that we are doing great!! He is wonderful and we are so happy that he is here with us.

It was all worth it, it was meant to be ....going through the hurdles to get him all the way over here! He is a quick learner, he can sit, give his paw, lay down and roll over. And that's just for starters.

We tried to take some pictures this evening, but he was in a play mood and it ended in laughter. But the one I am sending to you is funny, Tessa, Emilie AND Louie is laughing ...cute!

We are going to the vet tuesday, for his vac. I will find out how much weight he has gained. He was 5.8 kg six days after he arived.

The collar I bought for him, 27 cm, was to small!!! And he is growing fast... I will send you better pictures soon.

It helped me to know the time he was being shipped to Denmark...And i was finally convinced that the long trip does not traumatize the puppy. Louie is a good example of that!

We will stay in touch!!!
Take care!

Kathy,

Just wanted to give you an update on Bailey (black collar). He really is the most beautiful natured and fun puppy. He is also very intelligent and so quick to learn. The whole family is quite obsessed by him, and he has many adopted godparents.

We think he is gorgeous but everybody else comments on his colour and what a beautiful dog he is.

It is the first time we have had a dog, and now couldn't imagine  not having him around - there is such joy in his greetings even if we have left him for a short time that it is a pleasure to come home.

There is another Cloudcatcher labradoodle that we see at the park regularly and his brother lives in the next suburb - though we have yet to have a play date.

Thank you again for breeding such a beautiful dog.

Regards
Lianne Graf

Dear Kathy

It is five weeks since Sheba arrived in Perth. She is an absolute delight and one very smart little doggy; she learnt how to use the doggy door on the first morning after her long flight! Over the past few weeks we have done lots of basic training with her and yesterday she started puppy management classes at our local Vet, where she was a real show off! Sheba is growing very fast, loves her BARF diet; your recipe is so easy to make up and I can highly recommend it to others who may be undecided. The attached photo of Sheba with Bethany, our grand  daughter, was taken a few days ago; they have enjoyed lots of play time together during the school holidays.

Our sincere thanks to you and the Cloud Catcher team for our gorgeous puppy.

Kind regards

Alison Liebenberg

Greetings Kathy!

I thought it was long over due to send you an update and some pictures of our pretty Penny. She is the perfect mix of spunk and sweetness! I don't know how you did it but you picked the perfect companion for us!

Where ever we take Penny she stills the show. People go on and on about her soft and beautiful fur.  A fair amount of people have never seen a labradoodle in person or if they have...it's one with less desirable fur. I respond by telling people Penny is from one of the best breeders in Australia...that's why her fur is so nice. Then they joking ask if she barks with an Australian accent (ha,ha). No really, if someone is interested in buying a Labradoodle, I do my part to stress the importance of asking all the right questions (buy from a reputable breeder only) and of course I encourage them to check out CloudCatcher!

The process of purchasing Penny (including the long plane flight to the US) through Cloudcatcher was flawless. Kathy, I have to admit it was a bit nerve racking buying a dog from the other side of the world but the service and reassurance you provided was priceless!

Thanks a million for the Perfect friend!

My best,
Sonja Stevens

p.s. Let me know if any of Penny's "brown" siblings might be having pups about one year from now...we are interested in getting a second labradoodle like Penny!

Hi Kathy,

Cayenne is learning so much!  He is really good at sit, shake, lay down, roll over, sitting when we get visitors, sitting on walks when people want to pet, round robin calling (and Go to Mike! Go to Julie!), Leave it – though sometimes he still tries to inch closer and stick his tongue out and ‘accidentally’ lap up the treat during the “Leave it” command, and Stay – we are starting to work more on stepping away in distance.  We are pretty sure he knows what heel means during our walks b/c he likes to pull and then heel for a treat but when we get close to home he pulls even with a gentle leader on b/c he just can hardly wait to get home for a snuggle….I guess…..we are working on it.

He has gotten brave enough to try out the stairs and has made his way up about 5 times now at our invitation.  He is too scared to try going down yet and cries for me to pick him up and carry him down for now.  Once he gets more coordinated going up, we’ll get him to try coming down.

He saw his first amazing sunset tonight so we hurried out to snap him with it.  Totally pink sky!!  And our friend Dawn came out and took some pictures of the three of us on Emon Beach….our first family pics!

He is a major snuggler.  Major. The big time.  As I am typing, he is totally wrapped up with Mike on the couch.  It is Mike’s b-day today and all he wanted to do was play round robin calling, go on a great walk, and snuggle with me and Cayenne.  Perfect. J

Love,
Julie
